One of the best ryokan buffet in Lake Toya

My family stayed at a few ryokan around Lake Toya during Christmas last year, and Nonokaze is by far the best resort in the area. All of the guest rooms have access to expansive view of Lake Toya, our room was clean and had everything we needed plus more. I was surprised to receive a birthday gift from the ryokan when we arrived. The buffet dinner was unbeatable, with lots and lots of option from cuisine all around the world, ranging from freshly made pasta, BBQ seafood, nigiri, sashimi, soups... huge variety of drinks and desserts. Did I mention all you can eat and drink Hokkaido cheese and milk? After dinner, I was surprised once again with a special birthday cake... and a framed photo of our family. I have had different surprises from hotels before... but I think this was definitely above and beyond customer service... I felt extra special.

預入住乃之風飯店時的極差體驗： 沒有暖氣、熱水、溫泉，補償方式讓人氣憤 2023年底跟朋友來洞爺湖時，曾入住乃之風飯店，當時印象不錯，因此這次帶家人來北海道旅行，特地選擇這間飯店，甚至為了入住這裡而調整原本的行程。畢竟乃之風飯店屬於較高級的飯店，原本期待能讓家人好好享受，結果卻大失所望。 2025/1/31抵達飯店後，才被告知因2025/1/28的火災導致設備故障，無法提供暖氣、熱水、溫泉。這麼重要的訊息，飯店居然沒有事先通知住客，而是等到抵達才臨時告知，這點已經讓人相當不滿。 而更令人憤怒的是，飯店提供的補償方式完全沒有誠意： 1.選擇繼續入住，但僅收一半費用——請問有人會願意花一晚1萬台幣，住在沒有暖氣、沒有熱水、沒有溫泉的北海道洞爺湖飯店嗎？ 2.改住3星級的湖畔亭飯店，但還要額外支付2萬日幣/晚（這個價格與自己訂的房價差不多），唯一的補償只是「每人一杯酒精飲品」。 當我們詢問飯店為何沒有事先通知，飯店人員的回應是：「我們有通知旅行社，是旅行社沒有通知Agoda，或是Agoda沒有通知顧客。」這完全是在推卸責任，飯店作為服務提供者，應該要確保每一位訂房的顧客確實收到通知，而不是把責任推給其他平台。 火災的發生確實是不幸的，但問題在於處理方式。 事發至今已經3天（1/28 → 1/31），但飯店仍未能提出讓人信服的補償方案，這樣的態度只會讓顧客更加憤怒。 這次入住乃之風飯店，帶給我們的不是美好回憶，而是滿滿的失望與憤怒。 這次洞爺湖之旅確實讓人「印象深刻」，但不是因為美景，而是因為這間飯店的應對方式。以後不會再考慮這裡，也不會推薦給其他人。 希望未來要入住的旅客能多加留意，避免遇到類似的情況。 （照片是2023/12/27第一次入住）

Consider avoiding this hotel unless absolutely necessary. The property is quite old, poorly maintained, and doesn’t justify the $300 per night price tag. The experience felt like staying in an outdated Accor hotel. In fact, a newer Novotel would offer better facilities. As for the food, it’s comparable to other options, even though this hotel is often considered the best in Toya.

Beautiful View and Excellent Food

Stayed one night at this beautiful lakeside hotel. Our room was spacious with a wonderful view of Lake Toya. The outdoor infinity pool style onsen on the rooftop was out of this world. I felt like I could stay there forever. We had buffet dinner and breakfast at Le Vent restaurant and the food was AMAZING. The cold dishes made from fresh ingredients were exceptionally delicious. The bouillabaisse was also exceptional. It ranked as one of the best meals we had in Hokkaido. The only faults we found were: - There were very few parking spaces in the main carpark and we had to park our car in an alternate carpark about 5 minutes' walk away. One of the windows in our room could be open and we found that a bit dangerous as we had a small and very active child. Overall speaking, it was a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to family and friends.

広々とした開放感のありロビーからは　美しい洞爺湖を一望。それは客室からもレストランからも同じように楽しめます。岩盤浴やスパなど　時間をかけてじっくり楽しみたい設えでホテルステイで完結できちゃうくらい。特に大浴場や天空露天ぶろなどは　インフィニティ要素が感じられ　リゾート感を満喫できるかと思います。食事もドレスコードが無く　気軽に　フレンチ懐石も楽しめますよ。時期によっては　蟹など旬の海鮮も登場です。
