Great hotel in Furano

Great location - airport ski bus stops right outside, 2 minute walk to the gondola and across the street from one of the lifts. Lovely onsen (including one outside), nice breakfast and dinner buffets, and lots of other extras like a dessert bar, mid-pm snacks and coffee throughout the day. A library / reading/working area on the 2nd floor, which is great for non-skiers, as well as a kids' play area. Small ski rental shop with discounted lift tickets. On the downside, the rooms are dated and ours was a bit dusty, albeit adequate. There was only 1 lift for the entire hotel, which meant a lot of waiting around. The staff were helpful on the whole, and the GM came around at dinner to speak to the guests - a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing hotel in a great location. Right across the road from the lifts and easy walk to a number of restaurants and bars. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was fine and decent size. Ski locker was very handy. Onsen was great, especially the outside one. Parking was easy. The extra inclusions such as snacks, drinks, ice creams etc were very generous and appreciated. Breakfast and dinner were great. Especially the buffet dinner which was a great spread of food with all your alcohol also included. Amazing value. Had an amazing stay here and would definitely stay here again in the future.

Good value for money

The property itself is somewhat dated, however this is something we’ve come to expect in Japan. It is still very warm and welcoming and a comfortable place to stay. The breakfast and dinners are amazing, and worth getting the dinner/bed/breakfast package. The coffee machine in the restaurant is terrible, however in the lounge area near the lobby is a free 24 hr coffee machine with much better selection. We would get our coffee from there on our way to/from breakfast. Young families are well catered for, with a dedicated play area. Good value for money all round.

真夏日にクーラー故障

実際にはもう一年前ですが選択出来なかったため。楽しみにしていた北海道旅行の初日の富良野、子供連れに人気との事で予約しました。外は35°Cを越える真夏日だったのですが自動ドアを開けて中に入っても暑い、そしてロビーに溢れる予約客。聞けばクーラー故障により希望者にはよそのホテルを案内していると。子供向けの貸出品充実とのことで此方も色々と準備がなく幼い子供対応のホテルが他にすぐ見つかるとも思えずチェックインしましたが、客室含めホテル内のどこに居ても常に子供が額から汗を流すほど暑く、夜眠れないのではと気が気ではありませんでした。夕方1部クーラーが直ったとの事で少し暑い程度で眠る事ができましたが、とても快適とは言えませんでした。子供は遊び場に喜んでいましたがとにかく暑くて熱中症が心配でした。ホテル自体比較的古く、客室も埃があったりと掃除はあまり行き届いていません。食事もサービスは良いですが味は普通です。そんなトラブルがあったのに宿泊代1部返金や次回サービス等の対応が何も無かったのも残念でした。総合的に若干お値段以下かなという印象です。

Well located in front of the K ski area, with ski in/out facilities. It also has a ski rental shop within the hotel and gives discount to hotel guests. It has a small onsen at the basement. The hotel provides free flow drinks and snacks and beer at certain time of the day. Breakfast buffet was good, and generous spread. To get to the other shin furano ski area, you can take a bus ride for about 200 yen per person each way. Also a short ride from furano train station. There are many restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Taxi there is very expensive, from the shin furano hotel back to the hotel costs about 2000yen for a short 5-10 min ride.
