Comfortable hotel adjacent to train station

Stayed 1 night . It is a short train journey away from the bullet train hub back to Tokyo. Nice and warm , it was freezing outside, the short walk being a real bonus if dragging a suitcase in the snow, No issues, comfortable hotel- no gym though- however it did seem to have a link to with an external gym located 20m away. It opened late on a Sunday meaning I could not use it,

化粧品関係アメニティ欲しい！

最近の函館滞在の多くはこのホテルにしています。いつものように辛口コメントを‥ よいと感じている点①部屋含め衛生的②部屋にコーヒー、緑茶、紅茶あり③独立エアコン④ツイン、タブルをチョイスすると１人でも全てのアメニティが２人分ある⑤冷凍庫部が大きいなど。悪いというかマイナス点①部屋にアメニティなくフロントでも化粧品関係はなし②部屋が暗すぎ③全体的にフロントマンの接遇レベル低い（人の顔見ない・笑顔のかけらもない）④窓が開かない⑤部屋に常備充電器がないなど。　　言うならはＶОＤ、ミラーリングが欲しい。あとは部屋によりバスタブなしでシャワールームだけですので、気をつけてチョイスを。 部屋が暗いのでスマホが見づらい。

We were delighted to stay once again at La’gent Stay Hakodate Ekimae. The hotel's prime location, just steps away from Hakodate Station, is unbeatable for convenience. With direct access to trains, trams, and buses, getting around the city is incredibly easy. Additionally, the area around the hotel boasts a wide variety of restaurants, ensuring you’re always close to a delicious meal. We had originally booked a standard double-bed room, but upon check-in, we found that our assigned room was at the far end of the corridor, which meant the Wi-Fi signal was weak. I immediately brought this to the attention of the front desk, and I was impressed by the swift and efficient response from the staff. A kind female staff member quickly offered us a more centrally located room near the elevators. To our surprise, she personally came to our room to hand us the new key—a service that really went above and beyond. The new room was a pleasant surprise—it was far larger than expected. It was so spacious that I joked about having enough room to open 10 large suitcases without any trouble! The layout of the room was thoughtfully designed, with a separate toilet and bathtub, which further added to the overall comfort of our stay. The service at La’gent Stay Hakodate Ekimae was exemplary, with the staff handling our minor issue with such care and speed. Their professionalism truly reflects the high standards of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hakodate. With its fantastic location, impeccable service, and spacious rooms, it provides a truly comfortable and convenient stay.

シンプルだけど、気遣いのあるホテル

とても良いホテルでした。 今まで函館では気に入ったホテルを探せなかったのですが、今回初めて宿泊しました。 駅前で、直結で飲食街もあり、朝市に近く、駅前なので交通の便でも大変便利です。 ホテルはきれいで大浴場もあり、備品として雪肌精なども置いてあり嬉しかったです。ドライヤーも大浴場も部屋のもすごく良いものが置いてあるので女性には至れり尽くせりかなと思いました。部屋はベッドも広く、大型テレビ、清潔で気持ちよかったです。 大浴場があるので、部屋はシャワールームのみでしたが、別に不自由はなかったです。女性の一人旅でも安心して癒やされるホテルだと思いました。

Good location and seems new.

Location : perfect , just few mins away to the JR Hakodate station. Less than 10mins walk from the morning market. But, its like maybe 20-25mins walk to the red brick area. However, I'm surprised that Hakodate is pretty quiet. Room: not bad, comes with a luggage rack as well and a air purifier. Onsen pretty good and they gave free ice lollies. Breakfast spread is good. Thought they provided free parking when they asked about it and gave a season pass but then charged us for a night's parking (800yen).
