地下鉄大通り駅から徒歩5分程度で、移動も便利です。朝食のビュッフェは北海道産の食材を使ったメニューばかり。肉類も大きなオーブンから焼き立てを提供してくれます。とても美味しいです。ただ、イクラなどの生の海鮮は無いのが、ちょっとだけ残念なところ。 部屋はシングルルームでしたが、普通のビジネスホテルよりも若干広めで、5〜６泊程度の旅行カバンも余裕で広げられました。 ホテルスタッフの対応も丁寧で感じが良かったです。 おすすめできるホテルです。

Not Worth the Price: Spacious Rooms but Poor Service and Convenience

We stayed at the Sapporo View Hotel recently (4 nights), and while the room was spacious and comfortable enough, the service left a lot to be desired compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at during this trip. For example, I tried calling the front desk from our room a few times, but the line was always engaged, and I couldn’t get through. Housekeeping was also a bit inconsistent—they’d clean parts of the room but leave things undone, like my boy’s bolster, which they left on the floor instead of putting it back on the bed. Breakfast was okay—nothing special and the same menu every day. A heads-up: if the bottled water provided in the room isn’t enough, you’ll need to purchase more, as they don’t provide extras. We also booked this hotel because we thought it had an airport shuttle right outside, but that wasn’t the case. Instead, we had to walk 8–10 minutes to the nearest bus stop, which was disappointing. With the price I paid, this is not a hotel I’d return to.

Wonderful hotel and stay in Sapporo

Stayed here for the second time whilst on holiday to Japan, this time for 18 nights while visiting family in Sapporo, and don't regret staying there. The staff were wonderful, very helpful and always polite (a Japanese custom is always being polite). Beds were very comfortable although the Japanese pillows take a bit of getting used to, full of what feels like beads, but once your head is moulded into the pillow they are very comfortable. I booked a room with two chairs and a table which was very comfortable. Room was on the top floor with views out over Sapporo and to the mountains surrounding Sapporo. The room was very quiet so getting to sleep and sleeping through the night was never an issue. The on suite bathroom had a full sized bath, Japanese style toilet with wash facility, basin and enough toiletries to last a few months, which can be replenished daily. There was a coffee machine in the room, so you could have fresh brewed coffee daily. On the ground floor of the hotel is a restaurant where they serve breakfast, if you have booked breakfast included, I opted not to. There are many places within walking distance to eat. There is also a laundry room on the 3rd floor (600 yen to wash and dry a small suitcase (5kg) of clothes) and a washing machine, dryer, microwave oven and vending machine on 12th floor. On the 6th floor there are more vending machines. The hotel is located on Odori Park, which at the time of the year (November/December) was full of illuminations. At other times of the year it host several events, ice festival in February and beer festival to name two. Close to transport links and the famous Tanukikoji Shopping Street, which starts few blocks behind the hotel and covers about 900m of covered walkways.

大通公園に面したちょっとリッチなホテル！

大通公園に面した西８丁目にあるホテルで 地上50mの吹き抜けが素敵な雰囲気でした。 年末年始の５日間をのんびり利用しましたが 結構不便な場所で大通駅から歩いたら遠くて すすきのに行くにもちょっと離れてますね。 部屋は大通公園側が人気で値段も高く綺麗で 反対側はちょっと年季が入ってました。 朝食は北海道ブッフェで大人2,500円。 道産食材を使った料理や北海道らしい料理を 少しずついろいろ楽しめて満足できました。 大浴場はないですがサービス面は素晴らしく 裏の三吉神社で初詣に行けて良かったです。

Outstanding service

I never write a review, but the service was so above and beyond, I had to. I had lost my passport at the airport when I arrived. The nice man at reception helped me call the airport and find a way for me to get my passport. He carried a mini translate machine to help communicate with me. He never made me feel uncomfortable and let me check in with my USA drivers license. I woke up with a nice envelope under the door to my room that explained all the directions on how to get my passport back. They even offered to call me a car if I needed it. Super empathetic and helpful staff The room was much bigger than most of the hotels in Japan. All the waters in the hotel are filtered. There is a laundry service and they help you with that too. The location was convenient. 1 block from the trolley. 1/2 block from the subway. Lawson convenient store on the corner if you wanted drinks, coffee or snacks. Everything is within waking distance.
