Hotel Restaurant buffets was terrible and expensive. Would recommend to eat outside. We were charge extra for checking out 20 minutes late. The rooms were rather small. Felt like being on a cruise ship. Good location. The buffet is definitely the worst diner and breakfast had for the price ever!

A very nice grand hotel with a beautiful atrium but a bit outdated. The hotel is within four blocks of subway station and nearby the hotel were convenience stores such as 7-11 and Lawson. We booked three rooms and two of three had the nice view of Tokyo Sky Tree. The third room did not and had too much sun which made the room very warm during the day. The friendly staff helped us with the room upgrade to a Sky Tree view and the view was amazing. The staff was friendly, helpful and the service was exceptional. The hotel is also a Disney neighborhood hotel which provided free shuttles to and from Disney parks. You need to book with the front desk to ride and it is free. The breakfast buffet was held in a large restaurant setting and its food/beverage selection was fantastic. They had a omelet station and almond jelly and fresh lychees in the fruit area. The dining staff was friendly and seated us and took our dirty plates in a timely manner. The experience at the hotel was fabulous and I highly recommend. One star was docked due to the aging room furniture and old bathroom. Remodeling is much needed.

A Wonderful Stay in a Large Hotel with Exceptional Staff and a Variety of Breakfast Buffet Food

After 3 nights in Osaka, I returned to Tokyo for another 5 days with my family. The Tobu Hotel Levant is a 24-story hotel located near the Kinshicho station, which is served by the JR Chuo-Sobu Line (JB), the JR Sobu Line (JO), and the Hanzomon Line (Z). The hotel is pretty spacious inside with several restaurants on the 2nd floor. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in early-January 2025, with 3 rooms to accommodate 5 of us; 2 twin rooms with 2 twin beds each, and 1 room with a double bed, paying around $160-$180 USD / night per room, including daily breakfast. Out of a scale of 1 to 5 stars, the Tobu Hotel Levant gets 4 stars. So let’s dig into the pros and cons of why this hotel earned 4 stars: PROS: 1. Conveniently Located: The 1st pro is that this hotel is located conveniently away from many of Tokyo’s popular attractions. It is just 1 stop away from Tokyo Skytree, close to Akihabara, Asakusa, Tokyo Station, and more. There are also many restaurants and stores just a few minutes walk from this hotel, including Matsuya, Don Qujiote, and much more. 2. Close to Kinshicho Station: The 2nd pro is that this hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the Kinshicho station. The Kinshicho station is served by the JR Chuo-Sobu Line (JB), the JR Sobu Line (JO), and the Hanzomon Line (Z). We found it quite easy to drag our luggages from the station to the hotel. If coming in from Narita Airport (NRT), the JR Sobu Line (JO) has direct trains to this station coming once every hour. 3. Very Nice Staff and English-Speaking Staff On-Site: The 3rd pro is that the staff at this hotel are all very friendly. Most, if not all of the staff, in addition to speaking Japanese, also speak English. They were very nice and went above and beyond to upgrade my parents to a Skytree View Room, even when they did not book it in the first place. As my youngest brother had a later flight than us, the staff even offered to watch his luggage for free after all of us checked out on our departure date. 4. Spacious: The 4th pro is how spacious the hotel and rooms are. Unlike many other hotels in Japan, the Tobu Hotel Levant lobby is pretty big. There’s a lobby cafe in the middle with a high ceiling. The rooms had wide space so we set our luggages down without it affecting our walking paths too much. The bathroom was pretty large and had a big counter for us to set our toothbrushes and other personal care products on. The room also had a safe to put valuables in and a refrigerator to put small food and drinks in. The beds felt very comfortable sleeping on every night. 5. Variety of Items at the Breakfast: The 5th pro is the variety of items at the hotel breakfast. While mostly not a traditional Japanese breakfast, the breakfast had a large variety of items, including miso soup, bread, croissant, rice, fresh fruit, porridge, and even both a fried egg bar and an omelet bar. The hotel even listed all the allergens in each food to help those like me with allergies. Compared to other hotels in Asia, the apple juice here tasted a lot better, much more similar to the ones I drink back in the U.S. and Canada. If you like a large variety or want a French-style breakfast, this breakfast will definitely satisfy you. 6. Shuttle to the Tokyo Disney Resort: For big Disney fans like me, the 6th pro is that being a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel, the hotel offers complimentary shuttles for guests heading to the Tokyo Disney Resort, which stops at both Tokyo Disneyland Park and Tokyo DisneySea. The shuttle ride was both very smooth and an inspiring adventure. Now that we talked about the pros, let's move onto the cons and why this hotel did not get 5 stars. I honestly can’t think of too many: CONS: 1. Outdated Rooms and Hallways: The 1st con and I would say the worst of the three is that like many hotels in Japan, these rooms are more on the old side. The door had some marks and some of its paint looked like it was coming off. The furniture felt old, the bathroom floor had some black marks, and even some of the carpet was unstable, ready to almost be peeled off. This hotel definitely needs a renovation. 2. Lack of Traditional Japanese Items at the Breakfast: The 2nd con is that for those wanting a more traditional Japanese breakfast, the breakfast lacked many traditional Japanese breakfast items, including seafood and fish, and even did not have miso soup for 3 out of the 6 breakfast mornings we were there. Most of the items I would say are more catered to foreign travelers and give the buffet more of a French style. For those looking for a nice breakfast with traditional Japanese offerings, I would recommend eating breakfast outside of the hotel or finding a hotel with a more traditional Japanese breakfast. 3. Hard to Initially Spot the Hotel: The 3rd con was that when we were first walking to the hotel, it was hard to spot the hotel, as it felt hidden under one of the other buildings on the street, making the hotel and its front entrance hard to spot. I almost worried when I would reach the front, where the front was, whether I still had more to go, or whether I had gone too far. To sum things up, this is why the Tobu Hotel Levant earns a 4 out of 5 stars from me. Despite the old rooms, I would definitely consider staying here again should my travels bring me back to Tokyo. While lacking some traditional Japanese items, I enjoyed the variety at the breakfast and the convenience of the hotel to the Kinshicho station. If you are coming to Tokyo and would like to stay somewhere close to Tokyo Skytree with a breakfast with a large variety of items, I would definitely recommend staying here at the Tobu Hotel Levant. Overall, wonderful job and I look forward to potentially staying here again in the future!

Excelente hotel! Bem localizado, com farto comércio no entorno, estação de metrô muito próxima. Quartos grandes e limpos, que comportaram bem nossa família. Nenhuma reclamação a fazer. E meu quarto tinha uma linda vista para a Tokyo Skytree, foi uma grata surpresa!

Cheap hotel. But room conditions. Found blood on bedsheet after they do house keeping. No shower caps no shower soap and lotion stuff. The manager charged us for an international call that we did definitely not do it. Breakfast buffet so limit food and same menu every single morning.
