家族三人で利用。 駐車場は予約の必要があるらしいが、当日空きがあったので利用できた。 ホテルの入り口、外観、客室は清潔感がありもんだいなし。 化粧水、歯ブラシ、ボディタオルなどのアメニティはロビーでもらう。 近くのコンビニまではホテルをでて3分くらいの距離。 京都駅まで徒歩圏内なので便利。

Good hotel, excellent breakfast

The hotel had a great location near Kyoto train station. The room was good size but narrow so there was almost no space between the beds, and there wasn't nightstands. There weren't any closets. There was a separate toilet with a sink and a bath area. The buffet breakfast was splendid and had Western and Japanese items: ham, fish, hot dogs, chicken, pork, shrimps, croissants and other pastries, corn/onion/minestrone/miso soup, fresh and canned fruits (including lychees), fresh and roasted vegetables, yogurt, tea/coffee/soft drinks, and many more. The hotel provides tea and sugar (there is a kettle in the room), toothbrushes with toothpaste, razors, facial cleansers, etc. There were free tiny (one-bite) ice-cream treats. You can also buy drinks and normal size ice cream in the lobby. Unfortunately, people on the front desk don't speak English.

We were given a tiny room at the end of the corridor on the first floor. The room was not representative of what was shown in the photos they provide. The room must have been only half the size of the advertised size as it was jammed in at the end of the corridor. We called down to the front desk, and asked to switch to another room. We were staying for 7 nights, so we were happy to spend one night in the tiny room if there were no others available. The front desk manager insisted that the room we were in was the same as we booked, it clearly wasn’t. When I started to complain, his ability to speak English conveniently got much worse, to the point where it was impossible to actually speak to him. He insisted that the room we had was the same as the others. Overall, a very unprofessional experience at this hotel. The area also didn’t have much going on. Convenient only for walking distance to Kyoto station. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Fair quality Hotel

Stayed two nights at the Hotel Keihan Kyoto Hachijoguchi. The location is idea for travellers arriving by Shinkansen. Just a short walk. Lots of convenience stores and restaurants close by. Our room was bigger than many in Japan. Do not be deceived by the pictures, the rooms are not Western sized. But for our 3 days, it was good. Bedding clean, beds on the firm side with multiple pillows. Lots of electrical plugs for recharging phones and devices. No problems overall. Our room rate included the buffet breakfast. Which was hit and miss. At 7am when the tour guests ate, the food was cold and the wait long. By 8am the crowd had cleared out and the food was hot. There are food items for all. Both Western and Japanese. No complaints from us but many from the US tourists. The public onsen (both indoor and out) was super clean and delightfully hot. A perk of visiting Japanese. Highly recommend trying it out, please follow the ritualized washing prior to submerging. The only negative for this hotel was the WiFi. Slow and we were unable to stream. No English channels so the slow WiFi was problematic. Would I recommend this hotel...definitely. At CAD$160/night, including breakfast for 2 people daily, it was reasonable and of good quality.

Habitaciones pequeña, pero cómoda y limpia, Ubicado muy cerca de estación de tren de Kyoto y eel metro zona tranquila . Recepción e ir muy amables y rápidos en en el check in/out . Tiene una pequeña biblioteca con libros infantiles acertado .Desayuno bufete muy completo y rico . Hotel recomendable.
