Good stay but had some hiccups

Great central location in Namba, a 5-minute walk to subway/train station with escalators and elevators for luggage, with a lot of shopping and restaurants options nearby. Tourist area Dotonbori is only a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Housekeeping only available on the 3rd night stay. No coffee in the room, only tea. Free welcome tea and toiletries available in the main building lobby in the afternoon and coffee in the morning only. Free soft drinks and snacks in the evening only in the annex building lobby. Rooms are clean but can be small with space for luggage under the bed. Blackout blinds are great for sleeping. Disappointed when they ran out of coffee cup lids and creamer for the morning coffee service in the lobby, and when we informed the front desk they said it’s first come, first served and they wouldn’t be replenishing anymore supplies which is stingy for a hotel considering they don’t have coffee in the room and not enough morning coffee supplies for their guests. On our 2nd night stay, the fire alarm went off in our building at 2:30 am and we had to evacuate from the 9th floor down the outdoor fire escape stairs in our pyjamas in -1*C weather. After the fire department came, they determined it was a fire alarm malfunction and let us back into the building about 30 minutes later and it took another 15-20 minutes to go back to our room with all the hotel guests waiting to take the elevator to their floor. The hotel did not provide any compensation. Hotel pricing should be lower considering the lack of services offered (coffee & housekeeping) when compared to most hotels in Japan.

This was my first visit to this hotel, my friend and I were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. Location: The hotel is conveniently located, with direct access from the kansai airport via the Nankai Rapid to namba Station. 5 mins walk to hotel from the station, shopping areas and restaurants are within the vicinity, Dontonbori is about 10 mins. Shinsaibashi is not far away as well. So, location is definitely unbeatable! Check-in Experience: We arrived late, but the reception staff were courteous and spoke relatively good English, making communication easy. Amenities: The attention to detail was impressive. There are free hand warmers, facial masks, mouthwash, coffee and a variety of tea bags at lobby area so you can take as required. Room Quality: The room was exceptionally clean, and both my friend and I were very satisfied. The design, which separates the sink, bathroom, and toilet, allowed us to use different facilities simultaneously. Additionally, there is a door between the bedroom and bathroom area, which is a thoughtful touch; it ensures that one person can shower or style their hair without disturbing the other. The room is not very big as expected but definitely enough for 2 persons. We've got 3 big luggages but they could still be accommodated. Overall Impression: We were very pleased with the location, service quality, and cleanliness—no complaints whatsoever. Given the price, the value for money is outstanding. I hope the hotel continues its excellent service. I will surely come back and also recommend it to friends traveling to Osaka.

Loved our simple and classy hotel

We booked 3 rooms- Moderate double room (non smoking). Each room was a decent size for 2 people to stay. The hotel is located at a great spot, with the airport limousine bus stop just a 5 mins walk away, the train station just 5 mins walk away, Dotonbori just a 10 mins walk away. We especially chose this area as it was closer for us to do day trips to Nara, Kyoto from here. You will also find a lot of eateries nearby for your food cravings. The hotel itself is simple and classy at the same time. The room was just fantastic. It's a combination of Japanese + Western style, is comfortable, and has all amenities needed. The toilet and shower area are separated. There is a foot massager in the room that you can use after a long day of walking. There is laundry service available on a particular floor (paid) along with a microwave to heat some food on another floor with a vending machine. The rooms are much bigger in size than Tokyo hotel rooms for the same price.

Great Hotel for couples

I selected this hotel for its closeness to Namba station. It’s a 4 star hotel (no gym, no swimming pool) and a small but sufficiently sized cafe for morning breakfast. What I like about this hotel: 1) Proximity to Nankai Namba station. Exit the Nankai Express Rapit train station (from KIX international airport) go to level 2 and exit the south side of Namba city and take the escalator to street level. Google will guide you to the hotel in less than 5min. 2) Hotel staff conversant in English and courteous. 3) Rooms are clean with tatami mat flooring (Please be considerate and take off your dirty shoes before stepping onto the tatami floor.) 4) Room equipped with air purifier and foot massager (so considerate of them) 5) Full set of Pola toiletteries including disposable shaver and toothbrush and toothpaste. 6) Shower head gives excellent shower mist which is so soothing. I love it! What they can improve on: 1) The breakfast spread can include more variety or variation for each day.

A Good Choice!

Booked 3 nights at this Hotel. Getting to the Hotel from Namba Station is quite easy. There is a detailed guide on the Hotel website. Check-in was smooth and we got a room on the 6th floor. The room was not huge but sufficient for 2. Enjoyed the 3 nights stay in the comfy room. There are a few convenience stores and many eateries near the Hotel. Across the Hotel is the Nankai railway station (to catch the train to the airport) There are lots of shops within the Namba station as well. From the Hotel, walking distance to the Yasaka Shrine, Kuromon Ichiba, Shinsaibashi and Dotomburi, and Sennichi-Mae shopping streets! Lots of shops and eateries! Stayed in many other hotels in Osaka.... this Hotel would be my top preference for my next visit!
